Abstract

It is important for every Muslim woman to take into account the Sharia limits of women’s makeup and know them, and it is also very important to know the real purpose and purpose of beautifying a woman, because in the present era, certain things are required for adornment. These methods are given authority and objectives which do not match the objectives of the Sharia in any way for example, dyeing the hair to a color other than the natural color and imitating western culture, thinning and shaping the eyebrows, men’s haircuts, sticky make-up, nail paint and tattoos. Disregarding artificial henna and false eyelashes in ablution, having another woman wax the whole body, not using perfume carefully, baring the ankles, etc. are all cases that are acceptable for renovation in the present era is being done and it is accepted as a justification for women›s adornment, but unfortunately it is related to materialism and western civilization instead of the original Sharia. While all the forms of make-up for a woman that are permissible in Sharia have a dignity and natural beauty in them. And all those forms are sufficient and complete for every appearance necessary to woman, in which any excess is only to be removed from nature.
